The cottage fields Snerta and Femund Villmarksgrend are located on the Statsallmenning. 26 million decares from Trøndelag and south are State Commons, and make up the bulk of Statskog's properties in these parts of Norway. For many, the word "Statsallmenning" conjures up images of beautiful seder drives, great hunting experiences and legendary fishing. While Statskog is the landowner, hunting and fishing are managed through locally appointed mountain councils. The mountain councils also manage rights of use such as grazing and saddle farming that local farms have acquired through "ages of use".

Cottage plot in state public domain
It is not permitted to sell cottage plots in the public domain. It is therefore the lease of land that is relevant, so-called "fixing", where the tenant ("fixing") pays an annual sum. Half of this rent goes to the local mountain council where the site is established. And the other half goes to the Grunneierfondet and then back to further development and operation of state commons.

Snert Hyttefelt
In Snerta cottage field, you get a plot of land right next to the fishing paradise Femundselva, one of the best fishing rivers in Eastern Norway. The location also offers great opportunities to use Femundsmarka's exciting nature. The field is located in a pleasant forest dominated by pine, and it is excellent hiking terrain in both summer and winter. The popular snowmobile trail runs only a few hundred meters from the cabin field. About. 20 km to ski slopes and alpine resorts at Sølenstua.

Femund Villmarksgrend
In Femund Villmarksgrend, you get land right by Femund and opportunities to use Femundsmarka's exciting nature. The plots are located at the southern end of Femund. Excellent hiking terrain in both summer and winter. There are hiking trails and skiers right outside the cabin door. The popular scooter trail is only a few hundred meters from the plots.
