Rønningen Camp og Hytter is a family-run year-round campsite with nature close by. The 8 cabins and 30 carriage spaces are idyllically located a short distance from the river Sømåa and the lake Isteren, and canoeists and fishermen live in the middle of paradise. Located next to the Bjørnberga Isteren nature reserve where you can experience a lot of untouched nature.

Canoeists can experience great conditions on the 5 kilometers along Sømåa before the river reaches the Isteren, which is also a sought-after destination for canoeists. Rønningen Camp og Hytter offers canoe rental.

Fishermen and bird dog owners are the guest group Rønningen Camp og Hytter has the most of. With the Femund Hunting and Bird Dog School and a separate training and dressage ground for hunting dogs, there are very good training conditions for bird dog owners. The campsite is located at the entrance to Sømåkvolvet with many well-known fishing lakes, and it is a short distance to both Isterfossen, Femundselva, Gløta, Hola and Tufsinga, which are well-known fishing rivers.
