This is a reconstructed, underground cabin that was built on the Swedish side of the border by Norwegian resistance fighters in June-July 1944. The cabin was used for various intelligence missions in Engerdal and Trysil in the autumn of 1944. The name "Rævhølet" is said to have been given to the cabin because the place had been a hiding place for a fox. You can find it by taking Lortseterveien east from highway 26 a little south of Kvilten. Then turn right towards Nysetra (toll road). From there it is approx. 30-40 min. to walk, the lower path is signposted.
