Cozy cabin in scenic surroundings in Engerdal, in the middle of the national parks Femundsmarka and Gutulia on the east side of Femunden. The site borders Storsäteren, Idre in Älvdalens municipality Norra Dalarnas län Sweden. Located only approx. 1750 m from the national border with Sweden. Hiking and skiing trails right next door, and only 15 minutes by car to the alpine resort on the Swedish side. 

Kjærran gård is a small farm by Valdalsfjellet. The cottage that we rent out is nicely situated, a bit by itself on the farm. It is easy to get to the cabin all year round. Motorway straight ahead. Many hiking opportunities in summer and winter. In winter, there are several groomed trails. In the summer there are good fishing opportunities. 

The cabin is intended for self-catering. It has 6 beds and consists internally of: bathroom, living room which has an open solution with kitchenette. It is furnished according to today's standards with dishwasher, cooker, fridge with freezer, as well as crockery with plates, cutlery and cups etc. Two bedrooms with room for 4 at most and 2 at least. Those who rent must bring their own bed linen and towels. The primary source of heat in the cabin is heating with wood, wood is included in the rent. Washing is not included in the rent, it is done by you as the tenant, or done by the landlord for an additional price. The latter must be ordered preferably before or at the latest on arrival and paid directly to the landlord.
