The Heme dine festival was organized for the first time on 8-10 July 2016 at Lillerøåsen in Engerdal. Folk music and folk dance are an important part of the festival, but there will also be room for other genres and cultural and artistic expressions.

The festival is organized in the traditional settlement village of Lillerøåsen, where active settlement is still carried out. Setergrenda is beautifully located on the border between birch forest and Snaufjell approx. 900 m. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the area offers a variety of opportunities for outdoor activities.

The festival focuses on local cultural and traditional values ​​and highlights this, while at the same time we want to inspire and contribute with experiences that you would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience within Engerdal's municipal boundaries. We want to be a festival for the villagers, for cabin owners, tourists and other visitors, and provide good, social and pleasant experiences through concerts, courses, trips and pleasant moments around the fire with the nature that surrounds us.
