Haugen Farm – Wild, Beautiful and Roadless

Haugen Gård is a roadless mountain farm on the east side of Femund – a place where silence and wilderness meet farm life. Here you can rent cabins all year round, stay in historic surroundings and wake up to the sound of birdsong and farm animals.

The farm has its own farm shop with local food and goods you can take on a trip. From Haugen you can explore Femundsmarka on foot, fish in beautiful mountain lakes, or just enjoy the peace and quiet far from roads and noise.

Haugen has been inhabited since the end of 1875 and is still an active mountain farm. With us you get a taste of what life in Femundsmarka has been like for generations.
