DNT Engerdal og Trysil was founded in 1993 and has its business area in Engerdal and Trysil municipalities south of the network of marked routes in Femundsmarka. But also in this area there are marked paths, of varying quality. With the exception of some short stretches on the way, for example, it is marked all the way from Valdalen past Drevsjø to Trysil Sentrum and on to Osensjøen with connections to Sjøenden and Finnskogleden.
