The Blokkodden Wilderness Museum is an open-air museum that shows Norwegian and Sami use of open fields in Engerdal. The museum shows how people have lived, worked and lived in this outback from the 1600th century until today.

There is a lot to experience here for young and old. It is open in summer from 20 June to 8 August, Tuesday-Sunday at 11-16. During the opening hours, there will be serving in the café. Coffee/tea, ice cream, waffles and shortbread are served there. When you visit, please take a look at the new exhibition of miniature models of Engerdal's three smelting huts.
