Enjoy silence and beautiful nature where the road ends on the east side of Femunden. Stay in one of the cabins that have been old houses on the farm, or stay in your own or tent right on the banks of Femunden. You can go fishing, go for a walk in the mountains or the forest. You can go for a bike ride on one of the quiet forest roads in the area, or you can just relax and enjoy the magnificent view of sea and mountains. If you want to go on a trip even further into the wilderness, you can take the scheduled boat Fæmund ll to Haugen or Røa and go fishing in the countless waters of Femundsmarka National Park. About 2 miles south of Elgå, you can visit Gutulia National Park, where you can hike in pristine primeval forest or eat a waffle at the old setra.

Båtstø Camping currently has 7 rental cabins. All have installed electricity, but no one has installed water. There are sanitary facilities with showers and washing facilities. Washing machine and dishwasher.

Båtstø Camping can also offer Fjøsstuggu, a cozy function room in the middle of the yard.

There is also an old seat about 12 km south of Elgå that can be rented out. Nice tent and caravan site. This is right down to the seafront with a lovely view of Femunden.
