Folk music, folk dance and outdoor festival which is held outdoors on the mountain in Engerdal every year in the middle/end of July. In addition to the festival, Heme arranges its own summer camp for children and young people in parallel with the festival, and has the Hemom concert series throughout the year. Your homes means at your home, and is a local dialect expression.
Many people are familiar with the fact that food tastes even better when it is enjoyed outdoors. Did you know that this also applies to concerts?
Experiences out in the fresh air surrounded by fantastic nature have always been greatly appreciated by Norwegians, and more and more people are discovering this unbeatable combination. Your homes give you exactly this. Fresh air, lovely concerts, bonfire smoke, good food, trips, courses, new experiences, dancing and parties surrounded by beautiful nature.
has now put its 37th successful event behind it, and a new page has been written in our proud memory book. The main committee for 2024 is already well underway with preparations for next year's event, which will take place from 30.7 July to 3 August.

You and the whole family have free entry to the market place during the day. Here there will be entertainment from the stage in addition to many other activities!
Anna Widén grew up on Næroset in Ringsaker as the youngest of four daughters of Martin Andersen and Antonette Olsdatter. The family lived in cramped conditions on the Sveiverud farm. The father worked at the Brændevin distillery, while the mother was employed with housework. Anna was only three years old when she was put away the first time.
