In Gutulia, the forest is allowed to develop freely, and the researchers can study it through generations of trees. For 200 years until 1949 there was a seat operation in Gutulia. The seat houses are protected and restored. Koia at setra is open for free use and accommodation. The national park is located east of Femunden, by the road sign 3 km east from county road 654. Gutulia National Park – Gutulisetra is universally designed with an organized hiking trail and outdoor activities. It is also possible to use a boat across the lake.
In the period 29 June–11 August there are open seats at Nedpåvollen, Gutulisetra. Here, there is simple service every day at 11–17, except Mondays.
