Femundsmarka provides a good starting point for longer paddling trips by canoe. A popular starting point is Käringsjön on the Swedish side. Here you come almost directly to Rogen, who takes you further into the field. Rogen is also very exposed to the wind, so it is recommended to exercise caution.
